WIND (Wireless Intelligent Networked Devices)

WIND(Wireless Intelligent Networked Devices)は、ロボット制御に不可欠なセンシング、処理、およびアクチュエーションの統合を可能にするためのモジュール化されたシステムです。

WIND is a modularized system designed to facilitate the integration of sensing, processing, and actuation, which are essential components for robot control. Each unit, equipped with independent batteries, a CPU, sensors, and communication devices, collaborates to form a flexible network capable of coordinating and executing complex tasks. The current system is a wearable controller system that can be employed for intricate control tasks, such as operating the 8-wheeled Hallucigenia, which cannot be controlled using conventional steering wheels, gas pedals, and brakes. Developed in 2005 in collaboration with fuRo, the Future Robotics Technology Center at the Chiba Institute of Technology.
